ARRI ALEXA Plus – is the cornerstone of a modular and upgradeable system that offers not only image producing solution, but the whole process associated with that. With the combination of its own ARRI technology and widespread and the best means of leading companies in this field, ALEXA is unrivaled as the most advanced and powerful digital film production system. The ALEXA Plus adds integrated remote control system, data system lens ARRI Lens Data System (LDS), additional outputs, synchronization of lenses for 3D, built-in sensors of location and movement. Also, this camera has all the typical characteristics of ALEXA: high image quality, easy to operate, high reliability under extreme conditions and a variety of formats.

An improved system of electronics allows real-time wired or wireless remote camera control REC/STOP and lens functions such as focus and diaphragm, using blocks of manual control, such as Wireless Compact Unit (WCU-3). Lens mount in Plus model includes contacts LDS, that allows to display the data of lenses and depth of field, it is convenient to change the shooting speed or diaphragm. High Speed mode allows ALEXA cameras to shoot replays using codecs Apple ProRes (HQ 422 to 16: 9) and a Sony 64 GB SxS PRO cards, so there is no need to spend money on a separate special high-speed camera. High Speed mode maintains the same depth of field and viewing angle for all lenses. A new Sony memory card, format SxS PRO, has incredible read and write speed. According to the developers, their new memory card can provide read and write speeds up to 1.2 Gb / s or 150 MB / s. At the same time card boasts a huge volume equal to 64 GB. SxS PRO 64GB card can record video series with a high bitrate, and thus contain about 120 minutes in the format HD422 of the video stream from the 50 Mb/s in MXF mode. At the same time, this card will allow you to copy all the footage to your PC in just 8 minutes.
