ARRI ALEXA XT PLUS / XT is a universal 35 mm camera with an electronic viewfinder, shooting in 4:3 or 16:9 mode. The electronic shutter allows you to change the exposure in the range from 5° to 358°.

This is the second generation of ALEXA cameras, which was released in 2013 and called XT (Xtended Technology). Therefore, in this model there is not only all the functionality of previous versions, but also new modules. For example, there is a built-in ND filtering, Open Gate mode (the ability to use the entire area of the matrix), a CDL module and a universal LDS PL mount.

The camera has an XR (Xtended Recording) module, which implies: built-in ARRIRAW up to 120 frames / sec., ProRes or DNxHD up to 120 frames / sec., And fast recording on 512 GB XR Capture Drive memory cards. Also in all models there is: Plug and play anamorphic (the ability to stretch 4: 3 to 16: 9), the license “High speed” (the LDS system is available on all cameras of the XT family) and the ability to save recordings to ARRIRAW, QuickTime ProRes 4444 files, ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes 422, ProRes 422 (LT) and ProRes 422 (Proxy) to XR Capture drives or SxS PRO cards (SxS adapter required).

These features will expand the range of capabilities that ALEXA has already made so outstanding – the highest image quality and lowest production costs due to reliability, ergonomics and efficient workflows.
