Compared with the previous model, Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 camera has many additional features. For example, Super 35 can shoot at 4.6K with a sensitivity of 3200 ISO, a dynamic range of 15 steps and a frequency of up to 300 frames per second.

Manufacturers added new controls, so it became easier to change exposure settings, activate slow-motion and normal shooting, or adjust focus. The camera body has a monochrome LCD display showing all the current shooting settings. Another nice innovation was the appearance of a built-in wheel for adjusting neutral density, which works in four positions: two, four and six steps, as well as a transparent filter that does not affect the exposure.

Behind the display are two slots for memory cards in SD and CFast 2.0 format. A USB-C connector has appeared in the G2, allowing you to record to external media. The standard electronic EF lens mount provides a good working distance.

The heart of the camera is the famous Super 35mm 4.6K sensor, which is famous for its realistic picture, smooth gradients and wide dynamic range, up to 15 steps. G2 can record material in Blackmagic RAW format, which greatly facilitates post-production. Perhaps the most significant change was the ability to shoot 4.6K video at 120 fps, 4K DCI at 150 fps and even 1080p at 300 fps.
