Developed in the 1980’s, this is Hawk’s first Anamorphic lens. Small and rugged, it produces a very nice anamorphic image. The one drawback of the lens is lack of internal focus.  However many times Cinematographers gladly give up the convenience in order to get the benefit of their unique look.
