A7 SII camera offers an incredibly wide ISO 50–409600 sensitivity range, low noise when photographing and filming, wide dynamic range for accurate transmission of rich colors, shooting video in full-frame 4K directly to a memory card, high-speed and accurate autofocus system and 5-axis image stabilization.

Incredible sensitivity and wide dynamic range

Due to the possibility of expanding the sensitivity to ISO 409600 and a wide dynamic range, A7 SII camera provides high elaboration of details in both dark and bright areas under virtually any lighting conditions.

The level of detail and the low noise level during both photo and video shooting allows you to achieve an accurate realization of your creative intent.

High light sensitivity of the Exmor® CMOS sensor

Create vivid photos and videos with a more natural gradation of colors. The 12.2-megapixel full-frame sensor provides a wide dynamic range and low noise at any ISO sensitivity of 50–409600. Optimized design of the matrix with the placement of integral lenses without gaps and large photosensitive cells to increase the sensitivity characteristics of the matrix for shooting in low light conditions.

Powerful BIONZ X ™ Image Processor

The BIONZ X image processor algorithm has been optimized to enhance processor performance. This allows you to achieve an amazing study of the details when taking photos and videos in the entire sensitivity range. This image processor provides high image quality and low noise, especially in the middle and high sensitivity range.

In-camera support for 4K video and XAVC S format

A7 SII supports 4K video recording directly to a memory card with full-frame data reading (QFHD: 3840 x 2160). Full data reading without pixel combining allows you to achieve stunning quality of 4K-images with minimal manifestation of moire and step contours. Support for XAVC S format allows you to perform 4K-video with a maximum stream speed of up to 100 Mbps and to achieve incredible detail and reduce image noise during compression.
