SONY PMW F-3 CineAlta

PMW-F3 is part of CineAlta 24P family of digital cinema products; It supports various frame rates, including the 23.98P used in filming, as well as S-Log workflows.

Sony Exmor™ Super35 CMOS image sensor was developed based on the experience of digital cinema development, which has been around for two decades. This is the start of HD digital footage for making feature films and TV broadcasts using the legendary CineAlta product line. It seems that the image was shot on film, and this excellent quality has become available to independent companies making films, popular advertisements and commercials, etc. PMW-F3L is the ideal secondary camera for high-end film production.

PMW-F3L comes with an industry standard PL Mount lens mount adapter for compatibility with standard 35mm lenses.

The tried and tested XDCAM EX fast and intuitive workflow provides easy integration with leading non-linear editing software and is standard on the camcorder. In addition, the 10-bit HD-SDI 4:2:2 signal output opens up hybrid recording capabilities for a wide variety of external recording devices. Since June 2011, the Dual Link HD-SDI option has been offered, allowing you to use the uncompressed 10-bit RGB signal output, an ideal solution for high-end film production.
